Currently on one of those due to "The Tale of the missing Nanny" and unpaid..as due to an epidemic of chicken foxy spotty pox a few months back I've been told ...nanana paid leave, do I mind..
No, as an average child minder per hour x4 costs more and getting someone to take my 4 has been an outright nightmare .
I am guilt ridden from wanting to do the best for my kids and for my team yup you heard right , my Team at work.
so yes I mind
Recently on radio I heard people calling in to complain about mothers wanting special treatment , time off to breast feed, antenatal care, sick kids etc and others picking up their slack....
I felt awful as I would come in when sick just to save my sick days for days like this one and when the kids get ill, but you know what, I might feel a little bit resentful myself if I was the one left at work.
what is your experience I wonder...
