I have struggled to come up with a list of "my dream Christmas presents " and even as I write this now, I still really can't make my mind up...
Writing this, I am made more aware of my rather odd expensive somewhat eccentric taste which is absolutely shocking and new to me.....not.
I am probably hesitant as this being essentially a public diary I am aware that I may be hugely criticised for my apparent materialism......by my mother😂
It is Christmas after all, the season to be merry, wishful and happy.
So here it is , some of the items on my wish list , dare I mention that this list is the grand daddy of all wish lists, a list that feeds my grandest of delusions of grandeur, and only a small part.
Chinoisery dress/ Kimono
Vintage silk Kimono ; A good blue or green one will do ..
Chinoiserie ; be it on my dress, shoes , bomber, I just can't get enough, with Alessandro Michele at Gucci this year I have had my hearts desire completely met, be it all in my imagination or pinned on a board on Pinterest..
For a fashion civilian like me a vintage silk Kimono elevates my style and mood any day.
A statement coat
How much more embellished can you get ? Thankfully Mary Katrantzou has held Noting back with this dream piece.
Mary Katrantzou Coat
Coat ; Jcrew
Perhaps for the less brave, this piece would ensure your bohemian spirit lives on..
The glossy trousers
All Philosophy Di Lorenzo
The glossy pant, in red preferably as what's the point if no one can see you from space. My preference is this Philosophy Di Lorenzo piece, the Zara answer is fab too but size up as runs small.
The statement leather skirt
Mary Katrantzou skirt
DVF, M.I.H suede skirt, Anthony Vaccarello Mini skirt
The Leather skirt; in keeping with maximalism, I present the ultimate forever party skirt, Russian ,nouveau rich socialite , part rock and roll / bohemian princess.
The bling situation
To go with my skirt above, I would obviously need some bling, I like costume jewellery and if branded even better as will hold value if bought wisely.
Manolo Blahnik.. because I think these are coming of age shoes.
Shoes; shoes I totally do adore, heels, flats, platforms..all , the more eccentric the better .
So here it is , my wish list for Santa to consider, all guaranteed to elevate my style as a future eccentric chic Nan when I am 90...less the pvc pants of course 😜
Mostly collectibles of the future , heirlooms which will definitely tickle my kids to high heavens..
This is my lust list, what's on yours?
