wow I can't believe it's almost February, the most exciting month of the year for me. February marks the beginning of the peacocking season in the exclusive world of fashion, all things #streetstyle, front row #frowing and more, our instagram feeds sudenly come alive with so much daring style ...
For me, as soon as the men's shows end, I can barely breathe from excitement. The prospect of street style, the front row and of course what is actually shown on the runway oooh so exciting.
This season I am quite excited about a few items, which I am hoping to see worked and reworked on our street style champions and frowers.
The Asymmetrical hem
This classic cut is quite exciting as it allows for winter layering.
A fan of the dress on jeans trend ? This is your dress.
Particularly styles quite easily with any boot length.
Incredibly forgiving on most body types as it is often created using various layers of the softest of fabrics.
The structure which is based losely on light layers of the softest silk and chiffon, mean it can be worn year round.
Picture billowy walks in bare feet down sandy beaches.
The architectural mini dress
What is not to love about these dresses.
With a nod to architecture, structure and shape. I love the idea of volume, pleating and the final simplicity of the dress.
Being a fan of oversize and showing less, these work very well.
The foil boots
I can not say how desperate I am to see these come February , can you get any better than the thigh high Balenciaga silver foil boots..wow
The epitome of all things gaudy and chic at the same time.
How would you style these I wonder? The trick would definitely be to let it grab all the attention, and do all the talking.
If the thigh high "not quite hooker heals but close" boots are too much for you, then try either the knee highs above otherwise the ankle length version is for you. Either way you gotta have them.
Try with a shorter length dress..
As seen on Pinterest
