What in the gazubumbu are my talking about you might wonder😎
An age old malachy of simply finding a balance. Work /life , mum /me , mum /life balance.
Every year some time in early July I start my grand plan to go part time, I practice my speech to my Educational/Clinical supervisors everyday as I commute to work.
Did I hear you ask why? Well why do you think?
Essentially because I know I will miss all the school presentations and even worse may find myself laden with 50000 on calls 🙄🙄🙄 during the actual break.
My go to master plan after I march up to my supervisors , speech all prepared and end up moaning about the weather and Mr 👺👺Unt
Yes you guessed right, 😔😔😔😔saying nothing .. Nothing about my "grand part time plan" is to hope for over night on calls in summer which mean I am relatively alive and at home in some sort of semi comatose barely coherent form but most importantly with my munchkins 🤓🤓🤓.
Hence after these shifts often at my most vulnerable I am more likely to say yes to every demand by my clever munchkins and end up on visits to awesome places like the ones we visited this week.
This time it was the turn of our local most awesome Fishery and subsequently the most scary awesome reptile shop to !!!!!!wait for it........ Find New Friends😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
People that know me will tell you that I am simply petrified to ducking death of creepy crawlies snakes any reptiles arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg
For the pure joy on my little ones faces I am now about to become maybe a new mum again.....
The jury is still out, will it be the bearded dragon, the tortoise , the puffer fish, the Stingray , the soft shell turtle, Python , (Note mostly animals that could potentially lead to my end) Who knows, for now here are some pictures , and oh and if you are ever in Southwoodford London you should visit them too.
We love it here
