To say I am euphoric today following my trip to the west end of London to people watch and admire the grandest of window displays (as you obviously do !!!) is if I may say, putting it mildly ...
One of the beautiful window display I saw today was that of United colours of Benetton !!!
How did I miss the release of the much anticipated UCB's collab with Stella Jean?
Did I hear you say Ethnic chic? Yes exactly, chic knits in cashmere blends in a beautiful range of winter palettes. A balanced collection consisting of simple classic pieces typical of UCB and in addition pieces with Navajo Indian inspired patterns .
Excellent capsule collection, as the designer continues her commendable efforts working with artisans in poorer communities to bring forth her designs.
Done well to transcend seasons, hence the worry of spending a pile on a Christmas jumper to be worn only once is a non issue here.
I loved the long knitted coats. Which following on from the Kenzo double sided theme, look quite beautiful when worn inside out too, two for one dare I say..
I would wear mine with a lettered roll neck (I like the light blue one) with skinny jeans or cropped high waisters and Chelsea boots, oxfords if you prefer.
This capsule collection is designed to encourage you to layer up, I love the semi cold shoulder jumpers layered onto the striped jumper, contrasting blue and green was my favourite, worn with a pleated midi skirt and ankle boots.. I styled mine with coloured opaque tights.
Wow is this possible, a cross between ethnic/festive chic, is this how Italian's do it? I love this collab UCB, the first of many I hope, United Nations of style .
Well my friends I present to you my very best picks of Stella Jean Benetton collaboration.. I loved them all..
Winter layering Stella Jean Benetton way...
What do you think, festive dressing with an ethnic edge....
